My name is Fukatsu and I am one of the Edo folding fan craftsmen who now have only two people.
This fan is made from "honsotake", which is now said to be a phantom material.
This soot bamboo is a bamboo that is used for thatched roofs and has been smoked for 100 to 200 years by the smoke in the hearth and turned amber. It is light but very durable and hard to deform. , The unique luster is very attractive.
The one-of-a-kind drawing was left by my uncle and Japanese-style painter Ryuzo Ikegami.
It's a gem that you can use for a lifetime, so if you have a favorite, please buy it as soon as possible.
