Kakinuma Dolls, established in Tokyo in 1950, mainly manufactures Sekku dolls using the Edo Mokumekomi method.
Kakinuma Toko, a traditional craftsman, has won many honors for his doll making, but he is always looking for new and creative ways to make dolls.
Looking ahead to the next 10 to 20 years, we are striving to create products that will be loved by our customers for a long time to come.
This time, popular Sanrio characters “Hello Kitty,” “Pompompurin,” and “Cinnamoroll” and pop-colored manekineko are available. The characters are cutely finished by Edo Mokumekomi technique.
