Founded in 1917, Emura Shoten is a kimono wholesaler in Kyoto.
At the beginning, as a kimono wholesaler, the company dealt in fine Tango white fabrics for Kyo-yuzen, but later began to deal in a wide range of fabrics from all over Japan.
In recent years, we have developed "Kyo Yuzen and Nishijin textile Utsuwa" in order to create interesting products utilizing kimono techniques.
In today's daily life, wearing a kimono is a hurdle, but we believe that by creating kimono utsuwa, we can make traditional crafts more accessible to people.
