【NEW ARRIVAL】SHINSUIGAMA|TANBA WARE

Shinsuigama is a Tamba pottery kiln located in Tambasasasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture.

Surrounded by mountains, Tamba Sasayama City is a region of flourishing agriculture and traditional industries, and is home to about 60 to 70 kilns, each of which sells directly to the public.

Tamba-yaki is considered one of the six oldest kilns in Japan, along with Seto, Tokoname, Shigaraki, Bizen, and Echizen.

Tamba-yaki is characterized by its brownish-brown skin, rustic texture, and the unique colors and patterns created by the glaze.

Shinsuigama is particularly particular about the color of the glaze. We are challenging ourselves to create new glazes, and our glass glazed vessels allow visitors to enjoy the beautiful glaze color after they finish eating.

We hope you will experience the simple taste of Tamba-yaki, which carries on the ancient traditions, and the beautiful glow of the glaze at your dining table.
