AINU Crafts" is a project launched to create new Ainu crafts that can be incorporated into daily life, in the hope that people will become familiar with the traditional techniques, materials, and designs of Ainu crafts and feel closer to the Ainu people.
The Ainu people, who first settled around the northern part of the Japanese archipelago centering on Hokkaido, believe that everything has a soul, and they have valued coexistence with all things in this world.
We are pleased to announce the addition of a new product to our new Ainu craft line, which combines the delicate and beautiful traditional techniques nurtured in this unique world view with an innovative and futuristic perspective!
