คำอธิบาย
Enjoy the delicacy of Ainu wood carving work on this medium-sized Arita porcelain plate!
This Arita porcelain is designed by HIKAWA Kiyoshi, a wood carver from Akanko Ainu Kotan.
Casting is a technique in which ceramic clay dissolved in water is poured into a plaster mold and molded.
After the design of the dish's pattern was created in wood carving, the mold was copied and fired at Yamaheigama, an Arita-yaki pottery kiln.
The beauty of the wood carving and the shading of the glaze make for a design that will never grow tired of its charm.
The 6-inch-diameter plate is the perfect size for serving main dishes or serving cakes and bread rolls, so it can be used widely at the daily table.
We have now prepared a set of two types of cast plates and two types of glazes, celadon and ame-glaze.
Recommended for those who love Japanese history and traditional crafts.

Although this is a hard ceramic product, please do not use it if cracks appear. |
