I want to help those who suffer from poor health

Kenko Life Corporation was founded in 1994 in Hakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

The company began by selling eyeglasses, and later began dealing in health foods and health appliances.

The company name reflects the company's desire to "support people's healthy and happy lives".

Since our founding, we have worked hard as a health-related company to help people who care about food and health.

We want to help people who are suffering from poor health, so we started a business of dispatching acupuncture and moxibustion massage therapists to hospitals and nursing care facilities.

As we worked with people who complained of swelling of the feet, back pain, and other physical ailments, we realized that the cause of such ailments was sitting still for long periods of time.

We wondered what we could do every day to relieve the lack of exercise without strain.

We turned our attention to "poor shaking", which is commonly known as "poor shaking".

Although it is generally regarded as a bad habit, it is also said to be a healthy exercise that sends blood to the toes and raises body temperature.

"ASHIFUMI KENKO LIFE" is a wooden health appliance in the shape of a half-moon.

It is made of Oguni cedar grown at the foot of Mount Aso in Kumamoto Prefecture.

The cultivation of cedar trees in Oguni Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, began about 250 years ago during the Edo period.

It was recommended by the Hosokawa family, the feudal lord of the time.

Oguni Town is relatively cool in the summer and cold in the winter, which allows for the growth of sturdy cedar with tight grain.

We carefully select cedar that has no splits or warping.

The 100-year-old solid wood is dried by geothermal drying in the hot springs to give it strength.

All you have to do is put both feet on the "ASHIFUMI KENKOU LIFE" while sitting on a chair or sofa.

By swinging it alternately to the left and right, you can move in a manner similar to walking, making it a sturdy and beautiful piece of health equipment.

It took 28 years to develop and two years to manufacture, and even today, skilled craftsmen spend about two months carefully creating each piece of equipment.
