TABLEAU Factory was established in 1989.

We create original glass products centered around three series: "Edo Kiriko," "Engraved Glass," and "Edo Glass."

The brand name "TABLEAU" means "painting" in French.

We fuse Edo and European techniques and sensibilities to create and sell works that only our company can produce.

Through "TABLEAU," we deliver captivating glass products with the allure of paintings that capture the heart and never let go.

TABLEAU Factory primarily sell three series: "Engraved Glass," "Edo Kiriko," and "Edo Glass."

■Engraved Glass

The "Engraved Glass" that we mainly handle is made using the sandblasting technique.

This involves blowing fine particles of sand onto the glass and then carving it to create a pattern.

This method involves blasting fine sand particles to form patterns This technique evolved from the methods used by Emile Galle, a leading Art Nouveau glass artist active from the late 19th to early 20th century.

This is a series of glass pieces that depict memorable events in nature and soothing dream patterns.

■Edo Kiriko

"Edo Kiriko" is a traditional craft born in the 17th century and passed down to the present day.

TABLEAU Factory's Edo Kiriko is not only a traditional work of art by skilled craftsmen, but also features unique designs that harmonize with modern life.

■Edo Glass

"Edo Glass" is crafted based on traditional techniques dating back to the Edo period.

It features modern designs inspired by motifs cherished since Edo times, such as komon patterns and ukiyo-e prints.
