AZAMIYA was founded in 1971 in Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture.
The origin of YAEYAMA MINSAA can be traced back to about 400 years ago when cotton cultivation began and cotton sashes for men were hand-woven.
The combination of the characteristic square weave pattern and the woven pattern resembling the legs of a centipede express the romantic feelings of the lovers of that time.
While respecting traditional motifs, we challenge ourselves to create products with a design that enriches modern life.
