YUIYU" is a brand that produces products that connect traditional crafts and modern life in Yamanaka Onsen area of Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
YUIYU hopes to bring products from a floral designer's point of view, based on the concept of connecting Yamanaka's traditional crafts to modern life.
We have created "plant-like lacquerware" as an attempt to further grow Yamanaka lacquerware, which has been handed down through the tireless efforts of artisans in the midst of magnificent nature.
As a sustainable approach, we have left the grain of the wood, which had previously been left out of the standard, as it is in its natural state, to deliver lacquerware with a new shape and new colors learned from nature.
The enjoyment of slowly changing colors as the lacquer ages enriches our hearts and minds.
