We established Glass Studio Izumo in 2016 in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, my wife's hometown.

Both of us are glass artists, and we pursue very different styles, sometimes as good rivals, sometimes as good friends.

We both work with the blown glass technique.

Each of the couple produces a wide range of works, from daily use vessels to crafty works, and I think you will be able to feel the diversity of their blown glass works.

When it comes to our everyday pieces, we design and create with the user in mind.

We would be happy if you could use our works to create a gorgeous atmosphere for the occasion.

For the more crafty and artistic works, we have pursued our own unique expression, and our works have been highly acclaimed, having been selected for various public exhibitions.

Some of my works use gold leaf, so you can get a completely different impression from the same glass.
