History
Only one workshop in Japan, only one tone in the world
We manufacture using traditional wood-fired casting methods based on the traditional techniques and wisdom cultivated over our 190 years of history.
We are the only workshop in Japan that specializes in the handmade production of "Sahari" ornaments, Gion Festival gongs, and musical instruments.
Sabari is a kind of bronze that contains a large amount of tin in copper, an alloy that was used in the Shosoin treasures in ancient times.
Orins made of Sahari have a clear tone and beautiful aftertaste.
In our workshop, all of our products are made with the workshop's unique blending ratio, which was arrived at by our fifth-generation president after much research.
In 2019, we are developing a new brand "LinNe" with the hope that people will enjoy the sound of orin, and we are developing orin for daily use.
Characteristic
Encounter with the tone you like
Sahari's alloy will age to a deeper hue over time.
Wipe off fingerprints with a towel from time to time, and the color will change to a more uniform candy color.
The roughness of the surface is a characteristic of the traditional casting process, and we hope you will enjoy the unique character of this handmade item and its changes over time.
The music of the oriental music will accompany you and enrich your life.
For example, for waking up in the morning, resetting your busy mind, meditation, yoga, and daily prayer.
This is not only for your home use, but also for the elegant gift of "giving the sound to your loved ones", which is typical of Kyoto.
For Customers
Enrich your time, good tone will color your life.
The word "orin" is often associated with Buddhist altars.
That is why we launched "LinNe", with the hope that people would enjoy the Orin in their daily lives.
The sound of Sahari's orin is nostalgic, calming, refreshing, and soothing, depending on the product, the person, and your state of mind.
What do you think of the sound of the orin?
The clear tone and beautiful lingering sound create a rich time.
