History

Enchanted by the beauty of white porcelain

6.kiln (Roku kiln) is an accessory brand of Imari-Arita Wares, born from Seiroku kiln in Arita, Saga Prefecture.

Seiroku kiln is an ARITA Yaki pottery established by Seiroku Nakamura in 1966, and has continued to pursue the curvaceous beauty of white porcelain.

Seiroku was sometimes called "the god of rokuro" for his single-minded pursuit of rokuro.

He is the holder of Saga Prefecture's Important Intangible Cultural Property of Ceramic White Porcelain, and has produced pottery in the presence of the Emperor Showa and presented it to the Emperor many times.

Currently, his eldest daughter, Emiko, and grandson, Seigo, have succeeded him, producing elegant and graceful porcelain.

They have produced a set of tableware for dishes served on the JR Kyushu cruise train "Nanatsuboshi in Kyushu".

I, Miho Nakamura, studied ceramics at university.

After marrying into the Seiroku kiln, I helped the kiln while raising my children.

With the excitement I felt when I first encountered white porcelain, I started making accessories in 2019, hoping to bring the charm of traditional crafts closer to you.

Utilizing the high quality white porcelain of the Seiroku kiln, we create unique accessories that are sharp yet warm.

While classic and relaxing, we also value an exciting and fun atmosphere with an innovative playful spirit.

We are particular about the design and quality of our products because they are made at the kiln of Imari-Arita Wares which has a long history.

Knowledge of the metal fittings to be embedded is also necessary to create a sense of unity.

Since earrings and pierced earrings are directly worn on the skin, we took great care to use surgical stainless steel and silicon for medical use.

Our greatest strength is that each piece is handmade from start to finish.

Our accessories are simple and can be used in a variety of styles, both formal and casual.

Combination of tradition and fashion

The white porcelain of the Seiroku kiln is pure white and beautiful, and I had a hunch that if I wore it, it would make me shine charmingly, so I made it into an accessory.

Then, a simple but dignified and graceful design was created.

It is suitable for people of all ages and both genders, making it a perfect gift for someone special.

Blue earrings are also available.

It is made using a technique of hand-engraving with a needle on top of dyeing without drafting.
