These are natural cedar incense sticks made in the traditional way in the rich nature of forests and rivers.

The cedar trees in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture, are popular as a robust building material due to the rich natural environment in which they grow.

To make use of the branches and leaves of the cedar trees, which are no longer needed as building materials, there was a water mill where the cedar leaves, which are used to make incense sticks, were crushed.

At its peak, there were more than 40 water mills, but now only two are in operation.

In the midst of these difficult times, with the help of members of the "Baba Water Mill Supporters' Association," Baba Water Mill came up with an original product, cedar leaf incense sticks.

The incense sticks are made from 100% natural ingredients, using all the energy produced by the water mill, and are gentle to the body and soul.
