Takahashikusu was founded in Sakai, Osaka in 1917 as a manufacturer and wholesaler of knives.

For over 100 years, we have served as a bridge between users and makers, delivering numerous kitchen knives and contributing to the development of Japanese food culture.

Today, we manufacture mainly Sakai Uchihamono knives, which have a history of 600 years, in Seki, Echizen (Takefu), Tsubame-Sanjo, and other leading production centers in Japan, and are pursuing high-quality knives that meet the needs of the times while passing down the techniques.

This time, we have prepared a sustainable kitchen knife that achieves two contradictory features: long-lasting sharpness and easy sharpening.
