First of all, the mat is lovely! It feels very sturdy and well-made. I specifically ordered from BECOS because they had the largest range of designs compared to other online stores. While I largely intended for this mat to be a decorative object in my room, I did use it for a yoga and body weight workout and the grip is fantastic. It doesn’t slide at all, and although the woven grass can be a tough on knees and hands, it really will NOT let you slip. This is exactly what was advertised. Just wear leggings for those extended workouts. For those who are curious, the grass smell is a bit like the dry hay you would put out for a pet rabbit. It does not really smell until you are lying right on top of it, and I strongly prefer its freshness to the classic PVA rubber smell. I don’t need another one, but... I kind of want to order another!?

Since using rubber yoga mats had was Heta' now, it was purchased. Bare feet in the pleasure of taste natural feel, in my Yogataimu of necessities. Once used, it can not return to the other rubber.
