This is due to the use of gold leaf to reproduce the "kannyu" technique, in which a crack-like pattern appears on the surface of ceramics due to the difference in shrinkage rate between the glaze and the base material when the ceramics are fired and cooled.

The cracks in the gold leaf appear differently on each glass, making it truly one of a kind. The depth and elegance of the gold leaf's brilliance can be attributed to the penetration of the gold leaf.
