When you hold a drink up to the light, the inside of the glass glows faintly due to the diffused reflection of light from the gold leaf. The gold leaf shines like stardust, as if a candle is quietly lit.
In addition to gold leaf, two types of gold foil are available: one made of gold-plated aluminum foil and the other made of champagne gold foil.
