The traditional beauty of deep blue
This blue Edo faceted rock glass was designed and cut by Hideaki Shinozaki, a traditional craftsman.
The water chestnut pattern is said to be derived from the shape of the leaves and fruits of the water plant "hishi", and is believed to be a good omen for prosperity of offspring and good health, as hishi thrive vigorously.
The continuous pattern of two hishi (rhombuses) shines beautifully like the ripples of a calm sea.
The blue world that spreads through the glass soothes the soul and can be used not only for drinks, but also as a small bowl to beautifully serve appetizers and desserts, creating a fine moment.
It is also recommended as a gift for Father's Day and Mother's Day.
