This glue stick is inspired by the design of the chijiri (kimono) of the Ainu people and features setamento flowers
Setamento is the Ainu name for the crested late summer mint, which, when dried, can become a medicinal herb and was consumed by the Ainu people as an everyday hot tea.
This design is by Sayo, an illustrator of Ainu culture, who has been creating designs while restoring and performing traditional Ainu dances with young Ainu living in Tokyo.
Please feel the Ainu culture easily in your daily life.
