Kumiko is a craft in which pieces of wood are combined without using nails or metal fittings. The disciplined and continuous pattern and the fragrance of the wood are calming.
The hemp leaves used as a motif are considered a pattern of good luck because they grow fast and straight and have a strong life force.
Made of high quality Kyoto-grown Japanese cypress, each piece is carefully and wholeheartedly crafted by craftsmen with proven skills.
