Yokota Butsudan, founded in 1832 in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, is a long-established shop that has supported the culture of prayer through Buddhist altar craftsmanship for nearly two centuries.

Building on generations of inherited woodworking and lacquer techniques, it proposes new forms of prayer that fit modern lifestyles.

The newly introduced “SYLANIS” is an incense burner featuring a unique horizontal design. Its structure minimizes ash scattering and conceals the flame source, allowing you to enjoy the fragrance with peace of mind.

Crafted from domestic Japanese cypress and finished with genuine lacquer, its appeal lies in the deepening richness of its character with use.

Its minimalist presence harmonizes with both Japanese and Western spaces, creating quiet moments of respite within daily life.

We invite you to experience this new dimension of fragrance, born from techniques and ideas cultivated over a long history.

Available in three designs—Aoi pattern, cloisonné pattern, and single-character motif—this is a premium piece suitable for gifts.
