The base color is "Ruri-iro," a dark indigo like that of the deep sea, on which a pattern has been carefully painted in white using the Itchin technique, stroke by stroke.
This beautiful, uniquely Japanese Tokkuri is reminiscent of traditional designs such as Edo Kiriko (Edo faceted glass).
