Description
A cylindrical sake cup with beautiful lacquer and maki-e
The "Sakasatsuki" series is inspired by the image of the upside-down moon reflected in a sake cup.
The attractive cylindrical design is made of glossy urushi lacquer and gold maki-e.
The wooden body is also lightweight and easy to hold, and it keeps the beverage inside hot or cold thanks to its good insulating properties.
The cups are slightly large, making them great for those who like to take big sips of sake.
Two types are available: "Kasa," which expresses the appearance of a circle of light around the moon, and "Ariake," which has a motif of the moon at dawn.
